The agreement
These terms govern your use of Ekam (“Ekam”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use Ekam for an organisation, you confirm you can bind it to these terms.
Accounts & workspaces
You must give accurate information and keep your password safe. You're responsible for activity in your account and workspace, including members you invite and the roles you give them. Tell us promptly at security@ekam.io if you suspect unauthorised access.
Connected platforms
Ekam works by connecting to third-party platforms such as Google, Microsoft, Slack, Meta (WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger), Telegram, Discord, LinkedIn, Atlassian and Calendly. Your use of each platform remains subject to its own terms and policies — for example the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy. Platforms can change or withdraw their APIs; we'll do our best to keep integrations working but can't guarantee any particular integration stays available.
AI features
AI-generated drafts, summaries and answers can be wrong or incomplete. Review them before you send. You are responsible for messages sent from your accounts, including messages you approve and messages sent by auto-reply rules or automations you switch on.
Acceptable use
Don't use Ekam to:
- send spam, unsolicited bulk messages or content that breaks any platform's rules;
- break the law, infringe others' rights, or harass, deceive or harm anyone;
- access accounts or data you aren't authorised to access;
- probe, overload or disrupt the service, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows.
We may suspend accounts that put the service, other customers or third parties at risk.
Your data
You own your content. You give us permission to host, process and transmit it only as needed to provide and secure the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data at any time.
Plans & fees
Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, per user, and renew automatically until cancelled. Every plan starts with a 1-day free trial that requires a payment method (card or UPI); unless you cancel before the trial ends, your chosen plan starts and the payment method is charged automatically. You can cancel any time; access continues to the end of the period you've paid for. We'll give at least 30 days' notice of price changes.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Ekam and delete your workspace at any time. We may end or suspend your access for a material breach of these terms. After termination we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers & liability
Ekam is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
General
We may update these terms; for material changes we'll notify you in advance by email or in the app. If any part of these terms is unenforceable the rest still applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Ekam is incorporated. Questions: hello@ekam.io.
